Use this form to administer the library of steel grades that can be assigned to Section Types. You can add Grades in the Setup Wizard, manually create Grades or import them using the Import/Export Wizard as an XML import.

Field |
Description |
Grade ID |
This is populated automatically and represents the record number in STRUMIS. |
Grade |
Identify the name of the steel Grade. |
Region |
Choose a region from the drop-down menu. The only regions that the grade can be applied to will be those that have already been installed. |
Rating |
This number is used to order grades in drop-down lists throughout the STRUMIS system. For example, if you use this grade frequently, make sure it appears towards the top of any drop-down list by giving it a grade of 1. |
Grade Cross References are used when importing material lists into STRUMIS. Your import file may contain grades that are not defined in STRUMIS. You can map these to defined STRUMIS grades. For example, if you have an import file with a grade specified as 43A, but you have that grade specified in STRUMIS as S275, you should add 43A as a cross reference in the definition of the S275 grade. When you import a file with grade 43A specified, then all items with this grade will be imported as S275.
