Use this form to define the physical locations that an item of inventory may be stored or pass through.

This field is populated automatically and references the record number of its kind in STRUMIS. |
Name |
Give the location a name, for example, Workshop A or Storage Bay 1. |
Description |
You can optionally give more details about the location. |
Facility |
Locations are grouped by Facility. If your company has subsidiary branches, choose the relevant subsidiary from the drop-down list; otherwise, choose your Default. The relationship between a facility and one or more locations is apparent throughout the STRUMIS system. For example, when your purchaser orders goods, they first choose a Facility. One or more delivery locations are then available to the purchaser, depending on the facility chosen. |

Select this check box if you want the address (in the Delivery tab) to be available for your purchasing department to deliver material directly to the location. |
