About contract budgets

The contract budget allows you to monitor the performance of the contract by comparing the estimated / budgeted costs (and weight and hours) with the actual values incurred. It does this at cost code level and can be further broken down by week or month over a particular time period.

Once a budget has been set up, it is largely self-sufficient and is automatically updated by numerous processes elsewhere in STRUMIS, such as purchase orders and employee time sheets.

The contract budget figures can be derived straight from a STRUMIS estimate or can be manually input if estimating has not been used. Revisions to the budget can be added both manually and via a contract change order.

Access
