The batch update function can be used in the Inventory to adjust a number of records at the same time to contain common properties. This can also be used for singular entries.
This options available within this module reference properties related to material origins and marking. utilising this tool is useful to help maintain your material traceability.
In order to use this tool, select lines in the Inventory search grid and click the batch update button which can be found in Actions>Batch Update.
One or more of the options available on this form can be applied at the same time.
The following fields are available:

CE Mark |
If you have multiple steel items that have a common CE mark, this batch update can be used to apply this to the chosen Inventory records. |
Cast reference |
If you have the relative cast reference for multiple steels, enter this information and apply it to several lines at the same time. |
Country of Origin |
Select a country from the available choices in the drop down menu or alternatively, if the country you require is not listed, use the ellipsis button to add another into the system. This will be done on a standard STRUMIS lookup form where new entries can be typed directly into the next available free line. |
Origin Mill |
Select a mill from the available choices in the drop down menu or alternatively, if the mill you received the material from is not listed, use the ellipsis button to add another into the system. This will be done on a standard STRUMIS lookup form where new entries can be typed directly into the next available free line. |
