
You can use Classifications to define categories that are used to group Inventory items together. You might define classifications so that you can assign a status to each Inventory item. Your purchasing department can then search for inventory items with a classification of To be returned, for example.
An item classification is linked to an Inventory item on the Edit Inventory - Details form. See Edit inventory.
You can search for Inventory items with a particular classification using the Advanced tab of the Inventory Search form. See Search the inventory.
How do I access item classifications?
From the sidebar menu, go to Items & Inventory > Item Classification.
