Use this form to specify the production processes that are applied when this production template is used to generate work orders. You can list any number of production processes in each template.
If you intend to use a template and you are aware that an additional process will be needed, it can be applied independently in the Generate Contract Work Orders Wizard.
|
If you are aware that there will be a set process sequence that will be used a lot, utilising a series of prebuilt templates will be less time consuming than adding processes in each time you generate the Contract Work Orders. |
The form is divided into two grids: the process list and the process/workstation time calculations. These are described in more detail below.
To add a process, either click or press the down-arrow in the Process column and select a process as shown below.

The other columns are automatically populated (see below) and the Process/Workstation Time Calculations grid is populated with one of the following:
§ For processes that do not
require a workstation, the default location specified on the Production
Process - Details form can be overridden. You can select a new
location from the drop down menu under
Location in the Process Timing
Details column. See
Locations for further information.

§ For processes that do require
a workstation, the default workstation for the process which has been
specified on the Production Process - Details
form cannot be adjusted. the option under
Location in the Process Timing
Details column is not able to be selected. If the location needs
to be changed it must be adjusted in the Production
Process- Details form.
