
Use this form to specify details for a production process. These include the basics such as the process name and the process stage with which it is associated, along with the location where it is to be carried out, whether a workstation is required, times taken to perform the process and an hourly rate.
You can also link the Estimate Process to Production using these processes to tie the whole job together.

Production Stage |
Each production process is associated with one production stage. Select a production stage from the drop-down list. |
Sort |
The number that you enter here determines the order of this production process when it is included in Production Control (where 1 is the first process in the order). The images below show a process sort order in reference to the image on the right, as it appears when processes are used in the Production module.

Colour |
Select a colour from the drop-down list. This indicates mark and mark items via Production Process in Contract BIMReview. |
Default Location Details |

Item Location Type Default Item Location |
Specify the location type and the location for this production process. This is the location where the production process is to take place. STRUMIS provides the following types of location as standard: § Storage § Workshop § Sub-contractor § Erection site § Contract off-site For the Storage, Workshop and Sub-contractor types, you can set up your own associated locations in Items & Inventory, then select one from the drop-down list here on the Production Process - Details form. For further information on Locations see About Locations. If you select a location type of Erection Site or Contract Off-site, the default locations defined on the Contract - Site Details form and the Contract Off-site Details form, respectively, are used. |
Requires Workstation Default Workstation |
This check box is available only if you select a location type of Workshop. If the process requires a workstation, select the check box and select a workstation from the drop-down list. Workstations are set up on the Workstation form in the Production module. |

Estimate Process Fitting Process Cost Code |
You can link a production process to an estimate process, fitting, and cost code. This enables you to compare estimated timings and costs with actual timings and costs. Use the Estimate vs. Actual Timings report to do this which can be found in Reports>Production Reports> Estimate vs. Actual Timings. The cost code links the production process to the contract budget. |

Select minutes, hours or days from the drop-down list. |
Default Fixed Time |
This options sets the default for Setup Time in Process Timing Details. This can be seen when adding the process to a Production Template. |
Default Process Time |
This options sets the default for Unit Time in Process Timing Details. This can be seen when adding the process to a Production Template. |
Standard Hourly Rate |
Specify a standard hourly rate for the process. |
Overtime Hourly Rate |
Specify an overtime hourly rate for the process. |
Location Transfer Report |
The Location Transfer Report is used so the system will know which report to use when this Production Process is complete (e.g. Transfer to Site or Transfer to Workshop). |
Default Printer |
When this production process is complete, the report that you specify here is printed to the default printer. |
Requires Delivery Note |
Select this check box to specify that the material undergoing this production process can only be moved if it is present on a Production Delivery Note. |
Requires Inspection |
Select this check box to indicate that the material undergoing this production process requires inspection before it can be moved forward. This relates to RF bar coding processes. |
